As most of you will already know, we have 4 boys. Spanning in age from 8 down to under 1. One of the things we want to increase this year is the amount of Christian books our boys listen to and read.
We have made a list of some of our favourite Christian books for Boys, all these books are ones we personally own or are on our wish lists for future purchases.
Before we fully dive into the list of recommended books, we wanted to share a link to 30 day free trial of Audible. Our whole family love the freedom this service gives to listen to some of our favourite books when we're playing, doing jobs round the house or on long car rides. If you click the image below you will be able to sign up to the free trial which you can cancel at any point.

Christian Books for boys that we love:
We're starting with a timeless entry, a book we both loved as children and now we get to share that joy with our boys. We're currently part way through book one, and the boys are loving it! A mix of adventure and fantasy such a fun read!
This is a book that we read altogether cosied up on the sofa. We have also found this dramatised version that we are saving for the next road trip we take!
2. Tales That Tell The Truth series
We have pretty much every one of these books and we love them so much! We used these as our Christmas read books, so each December we brought each of the boys a new one until we've run out. They beautifully illustrated and beautifully written to really help the children learn lessons as they read. The boys personal favourite is the story of Daniel.
This is a series of books that we've heard great things about! Our eldest is getting to the stage of being able to read books like this independently and has included it on his Birthday list, though he is a little reluctant of a reader. We've discovered the series on Audible which we may buy him so he can listen to the story as he follows along with the physical book. A great way to help those who are a little less thrilled with the idea of reading a whole chapter book!
Another Adventure story perfect for all kids -
Heather and Picket are extraordinary rabbits with ordinary lives until calamitous events overtake them, spilling them into a cauldron of misadventures. They discover that their own story is bound up in the tumult threatening to overwhelm the wider world.
Kings fall, and kingdoms totter. Tyrants ascend, and terrors threaten. Betrayal beckons, and loyalty is a broken road with peril around every bend.
How good does that sound!
A simplified version of Pilgrims progress but keeping the storyline in tact. This version was rewritten specifically for young listeners and is both a story of adventure but hols profound allegory of the christian journey. I don't know about you, but this was a must read growing up in my family, so I love that fact that we can share this with our kids!
Let us know your favourite books for your kiddos, we love expanding the range of books we read and listen to. Obviously I'm talking through my own experience of having 4 boys but these books would be equally great for any girls too!
